Blindfolded in Amstelpark, Kaylie Kist joins one of the walks curated this autumn by Zone2Source as part of their exhibition and public programme Mind Your Step. A sense of vulnerability opens up as she and other participants are trying to navigate through the park. Auditory and tactile senses are intensified, allowing for alternative ways of responding to eco-political challenges to emerge.

‘The candles on the tables are on, but who lights them?’ – in conversation with Youngeun Sohn

​Many will know her from last Jan van Eyck Open Studios, where she was cleaning the windows of the building while filming the viewers. In all her work Youngeun Sohn explores a daily practice that remains largely unnoticed. Her latest collaborative work with artist Niina Tervo called Dinner in the Forest Garden will be presented at Salon de Normandy in Paris later this week.

We ask Renata Cervetto, one of its curators, about the biennale and its reach during a pandemic: 'Covid-19 enabled us to work on a lower, more human and local scale, something that we had been aiming for already before the pandemic.'
