Press Release

Tenderpixel will close at the end of March 2019.

This decision comes at a time when the gallery has presented a strong international programme and enjoyed the support of a large returning audience and community. Through experimentation and a research-based approach, we created exhibitions and events both on and off-site that looked at creative positions within art, ecology, economy and politics. Tenderpixel opened over 11 years ago in central London’s Cecil Court, and we are grateful that during this time we had the pleasure to work with an incredible group of artists and practitioners from various backgrounds. We would like to thank the curators and staff who have created and contributed to the programme, as well as the galleries, institutions and universities that we collaborated with.

Tenderbooks has been an exceptional partner for the past 5 years; we are proud of the joint projects and publications we achieved together. For the foreseeable future, the bookshop will continue to operate as usual.

You can visit the current, last exhibition at Tenderpixel until Saturday, 30 March. More information: tenderpixel.com

And finally, please join us for a small closing party on Sunday, 31 March from 7.30pm at Trisha’s in Soho (57 Greek St, W1D 3DX).
